There are several cookie diets available. Each cookie diet promises cookies full of healthy protein and amino acids to help curb your appetite for a significant weight loss.
The following cookie diets are the most popular:
- The Hollywood Cookie Diet promises substantial weight loss. When hunger strikes, snack on one of their tasty chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin or lemon cookies. This cookie diet allows you four cookies a day instead of breakfast and lunch. The cookies provide essential vitamins and minerals, and are a good source of protein and fiber. The Hollywood cookie diet claims to have helped several celebrities lose weight.
- The Smart for LifeTM cookie diet offers six different flavors of cookies, made with only natural and organic ingredients. This cookie diet promises a weight loss of 12 to 15 pounds per month.
- Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ is probably the most well know cookie diet for a fast weight loss. Cookies are available in chocolate, raisin and coconut flavors. According to Dr. Seigal’s cookie diet, you can expect a weight loss of about 15 pounds a month by eating six cookies a day.
There is no breakfast or lunch on the cookie diet. You lose weight by eating a certain number of cookies throughout the day, and a balanced dinner in the evening.
The total daily calorie count of the cookie diet, including a small dinner, is about 800 calories. Such a low-carb, low calorie diet will help promote weight loss over the short-term, but the cookie diet is not meant to be a long-term solution.
