Junk Food
Unhealthy food; Food with poor nutritional value.
Laparoscopic
Surgical instrument; Flexible and ficberoptic, passed through a small incision; Used to examine abdominal cavity.

To be supplied with what is necessary for life, health, and growth.
Obesity
Name of condition in which a person's natural energy reserve, stored in fatty tissue, is increased to a point of certain health risks, including death.
Omega-3 Fatty Acid
Essential fatty acid; Found in seeds, nuts, walnuts, eggs, seed oils, and other foods.
Omega-6 Fatty Acid
Essential fatty acid, although less vital than Omega-3; Found in whole grains, vegetable oils, and other foods.
Omega-9 Fatty Acid
Not essential; Found in monounsaturated fats.
Organic Food
Food grown and produced without the use of pesticides or additives; Animals reared without growth hormones or excessive anti-biotics
Physical Exercise
Strengthens muscles and cardiovascular system; If done regularly, boosts immune system and helps prevent diseases of affluence.
Resolution
To be determined about, or resolve to keep, a course of action.
Resolution Diet
A diet one is determined, or resolved, to keep as a course of action.
Snack Food
Food eaten to supply a quick energy boost in between meals; Food eaten for its taste, not out of hunger.
Trans Fat
Type of unsaturated fat; Can be either monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fat.
